When you're shopping for car insurance, you'll have to give some information about yourself and your vehicle - and where you live.

Why? Because your location - down to your ZIP code - helps determine how much your insurance will cost, thanks to factors like crime rates and state minimum coverage requirements.

  • Property damage liability: $50,000

  • Uninsured/underinsured motorist: 50/100

In some cases, additional coverages were added where required by state or insurer.
