Our Take: Wunderlist is a capable to-do app for personal use, but where it really shines is its collaboration features. And since it’s on so many platforms, all of your team members can use it.

Unique Features: Built from the ground up for collaboration and team project tracking.
Our Take: If you're always passing tasks back and forth, Producteev has your team covered. It’s also free for unlimited users.
Unique Features: Intense GTD project tracker. And when we say intense, we mean intense.
Our Take: OmniFocus is flexible enough to be a nose-to-the-grindstone project tracker and your daily to-do list app. The recent 2.0 redesign has kept its powerful under-the-hood features while making it easier and friendlier to use for your day-to-day activities as well.
Unique Features: Simple, pretty, and versatile, this tool will help brainstorm new ideas and organize existing thoughts.
Our Take: With an easy to use UI and iCloud syncing, MindNode makes it easy (and dare we say, fun?) to map out your thoughts on the go and on your computer.
Unique Features: Action-based email client that can export emails to other personal organization apps.
Our Take: Email sucks, but unfortunately, we’re mostly stuck with it. Dispatch not only helps you take control of your inbox, but it also integrates into dozens of other apps - Omnifocus, Evernote, and Clear, to name a few.
Unique Features: Gesture based controls and playful, minimalist design.
Our Take: Clear is an easy and flexible to-do list app that replaces writing down our day’s tasks on Post-It Notes. It’s way better than paper, though - with iCloud sync across devices and push notification reminders, Clear becomes a Post-It Note that actually makes you do your work.
Unique Feature: Rewards you for completing tasks and punishes you for slacking off.
Our Take: Need more than a push notification to inspire you to do your work? This to-do list app hates slackers, and can be very, very vocal about that.
Remember The Milk
iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Blackberry, Web, Twitter, Gmail, Command Line… the list goes on.
Unique Features: You can interact with Remember The Milk with almost any platform, so you have absolutely no excuse not to pick up the milk.
Our Take: As far as flexibility goes, Remember The Milk is a mixed bag. On one hand, you can really only do one thing with it. On the other hand, you can do that one thing in so many different ways. Remember The Milk is a to-do list that can fit into almost anybody’s workflow.

Unique Features: Tons of third-party app integrations turn Evernote into a database that can power almost anything.
Our Take: Evernote seems directionless at first - "Okay, so you take notes with it?" - but that lack of focus is actually its main strength. Its integrations with third-party apps means you can use Evernote to power a huge array of apps, all of which will be backed up to a central service.

Unique Features: Tracks your digital life so you know where, when, and why you’re wasting time.
Our Take: Losing time during your day, but you don’t know where? Turns out, all that time on Twitter is adding up. Find out where you’re losing time and block out distracting websites with this handy tool.
Unique Feature: Less of a to-do list and more of a task master.
Our Take: Based on a work cycle where you work for thirty minutes (with no distractions) and then take a break for thirty minutes (hence the name), 30/30 takes your to-do list and turns it into your ideal and most productive schedule.
