Conferences can be boring places to hang out. Unless you're us.
Last year at FinCon 14, we dressed up in a shark costume and pretended that we misunderstood the purpose of the conference. It's "Fin"-con, see? Get it? Yeah, neither did anyone else.
So this year we took the "go big or go home" approach and figured out a way to give every single attendee--or at least those who got in line early--a one-of-a-kind, personalized piece of artwork, suitable for framing and on acid-free paper. Well, maybe not those last two things. But still the drawings were a huge hit, and our fellow attendees tweeted their portraits proudly. Or in some cases, to swear to their Twitter followers that they don't look that silly in real life.
By the end of the conference, our two very tired caricaturists had drawn over 150 portraits of our colleagues. Here are some of the best. Did your favorite personal finance blogger make the cut?
